About the Region:
The Volcanic Region, located between the South of Minas Gerais and the Northeast of São Paulo, stands out as a hub for specialty coffee production. Its uniqueness lies in the soil enriched by volcanic residues, remnants of a caldera of an extinct volcano that existed over 80 million years ago. This soil, combined with the mild climate, altitude, and adequate rainfall, provides a highly favorable environment for the cultivation of exceptionally high-quality coffees. The influence of the volcanic terroir imparts unique characteristics to the beans, resulting in beverages with distinctive aroma and flavor that captivate palates around the world.
Women producers are conquering space in the countryside, bringing diversity and sensitivity they've been growing into leading positions at farms. This project was created to highlight coffees produced by women in all regions of Brazil, care combined with advanced post harvesting techniques results in fruit forward, jammy and complexity for this blend.
