The name of this association comes from its vocation towards the care of the environment through the practices of cultivation, processing, and commercialization of their coffee.
The association is located in Dolores to the southwest of Tolima, where the first settlers were Ambicaes Indians. From these Indians, the current citizens have inherited a love of the land, agriculture, the countryside, and the family unit.
The association was created in 2017 by a family group looking for new commercial channels and in January of this year, they obtained their Fair Trade seal. The association’s headquarters are located on the San Isidrio farm, in which the owner assigned the space and built a warehouse.
One of the most important projects the association is involved with is the assembly of a community radio station. The objective of this station is the transformation and transmission of connection through the expression of information, education, communication, cultural promotion, training, debate, and agreement that leads to the meeting of the different social identities and the cultural expressions of the community.
