REGIONAL + PRODUCER INFORMATION
Luiz Carlos's involvement with coffee began during his childhood accompanying his father in family farms. He was born surrounded by cultivation and always kept this love for coffee alive. At the age of 17 he acquired his first crop through his father who gave him a lease on his land and they became partners. Even at a time when everyone was focused on just selling coffee, his father was a visionary man and began to teach him that quality was important too. 16 years after this partnership, he acquired his own land, tested new varieties and new ways of producing, always aiming for quality. Along with his wife, Simone, who helps him with all the farming processes, we see coffee as a food and take great care of it. They want to reach out to people in the best way possible, personally taking care of the entire process, and thus providing a better future for their family.
